To organize on Enigmap a treasure hunt follow these 5 steps:
- Choose the MATCH mode and create one, you will pay only later when you add individual teams from the control panel;
- Download and print the pdf file with the sheets to be placed in the playing field. These sheets contain the codes for each stage that players will need to enter on Enigmap to access the puzzle and solve it;
- Identify your playing field and choose where to place the stage code sheets (you will need to do this on the day of the event before kicking off play);
- Suggest that all participants bring a pen and paper with them on the day they play; they will be helpful in solving the puzzles;
- Start the game by telling the players the rules and the time they have. May the best man win!
Absolutely, you choose the playing field: it can be the neighborhood around your home or business, but also office premises, spaces in your home, a garden or a public park.

In SINGLE PLAYER mode from when you purchase the game you have 2 days to finish the match. In TEAM MATCH, however, the maximum match duration is customizable from the control panel you will have access to (an ideal choice if you need to organize a time-limited event).
On Enigmap there is no maximum number of players or teams. You can play alone, forming a single team or organizing games with lots of teams competing against each other. We recommend never exceeding 4-5 people per team to allow everyone to get involved and have fun.
Each Enigmap adventure has a hint system to help you out in times of difficulty. And if you really can't continue you can view the solution to the puzzle.
Each team must have a smartphone or tablet with an internet connection, a pen, and a notebook or sheet of paper useful for solving some of the games. Our games are accessible directly from your browser without the need to install apps or anything else. It might also be helpful to have a power bank for your device.
Online. The puzzles and story will always be displayed online on the team's phone or tablet. On the actual playing field, players must find the stage code sheets that will allow them to read the story, access the stage, and solve the puzzle. The real game is discovering the story and solving the puzzles, so we recommend that you place the stage sheets in visible places (unless you want to increase the difficulty level of the game 😉).
Of course. We offer a variety of games with different levels of difficulty and themes. In general, we recommend that you involve boys and girls ages 8-9 and up, so that they can read and understand the story and puzzles well, and independently.
No problem, our games are available in Italian, English, French, Spanish and Portuguese. Each team or individual player can choose which language they prefer to play in.
You decide this, we provide the game platform but you build the event yourself. Our advice? Prizes are always a good incentive for an adrenaline competition, you can define them according to the teams' interests (an online voucher, a dinner, a special item or experience), otherwise use a symbolic prize such as a certificate of participation.
Unless a high intensity weather event is expected, Our advice is not to cancel the game. In the face of rain, just arm yourself with a good raincoat or umbrella and the game becomes even more adventurous! Watch out for the stage code sheets: place them on the course by placing them inside plastic sheet bags to prevent them from being ruined by contact with water. Otherwise, if you can, postpone the game: you decide when it starts and when it ends so, until you hit the start button, there is always time to postpone it!
