So many assumptions, no certainty. Until today.
During my research, without much hope, I went to the Museum of the Port Authority of Palermo. Unfortunately, I didn't find any clues displayed in the dusty shop windows. However, I was able to access the archive: here there were ancient books, telescopes of all kinds and old geographical maps. Under one of these I found an unlabeled wooden box with a reel of camera film inside. The date March 27, 1945 was engraved on the bottom of the box. I didn't know what it was but something inside me made me take it...
