Description
The game is set in the pirate island. Players become pirates and must behave like them, performing their typical actions: they go to the harbor, to the tavern, to the market to buy weapons.
It is a stage game: 5 are fixed locations (Harbor, Market, Ship, Inn and Island) and 2, on the other hand, are animators that move (Wave and Wind). Teams roam freely between stages and earn or spend gold coins. The goal of the game is to have the most value in items, bought at the market. Gold coins that remain with the team at the end of the game are not counted; they are worth nothing.
Port. In a fairly tall bowl are apples, and players must pick them up without using their hands but using their mouths with a strong bite. Each player can try twice and has 20 seconds. Each apple caught is worth one gold coin.
Ship. The animators litter the floor and the players have to clean it up. When the animators are satisfied, they hand the players 20 gold coins.
Island. In 3 minutes, players must bring in as many items beginning with the letter S. One gold coin for each item brought in.
Inn. Here they can choose whether to spend gold coins by eating and drinking, or earn them by passing a test. Eating costs 6 gold coins, drinking 4. The test, on the other hand, consists of everyone taking a sip of a concoction. If everyone does this, they earn 10 gold coins.
Market. Here pirates can buy items with the gold coins they have previously earned:
- Sword: 15 coins
- Gun: 13 coins
- Sling: 10 coins
- Cannon: 20 coins
- Compass: 3 coins
- Parrot: 5 coins
- Rum: 2 coins
- Blindfold: 1 coin
Wave. An animator walks around the playing field and when he stops a team he asks them a question: if the players answer correctly they earn 5 coins, otherwise they lose 2 coins.
Wind. An animator walks around the playing field and when he stops a team, he has them draw an CHANCE card and based on what is written on the card, the team gains or loses coins.
Who win?
The team that has a higher total value at the end of the game by adding up all the items they bought at the market.
