The mission that my family had to carry out was very clear: to guard the black Stradivarius violin so that it would not fall into the wrong hands. Not only that, we should have hidden it until we found a violinist worthy to play it and to know the whole truth about its owner.
It was not easy to get a clear picture of this intricate affair, we had to look carefully and not leave out any detail, even if it was not very visible.
