I feel like a real detective following the trail of a mystery! There is also a very old photo on this diary page. I don't know the name of the person circled but if I solve this enigma I will find out. I only know what I read in the diary: "He was a modest, honest man, did not like violence and with his ideals led Italy, opposing injustice and opposing dictatorship". Probably this gentleman was also a partisan and like my great-grandfather participated in the Italian Resistance that opposed the fascist regime during the war.
